This replica has most of the qualities of a genuine rolex, even having the Micro-etched crystal of the crown logo at the 6 o’clock position. There are two things that I could find that gives away that it’s a replica. The cyclops lens isn’t a 2.5x magnification, and the rolex symbol does not sit upright on the knob when fully screwed.

The watch is not perfect, but you can’t really find quality like this for $150, – keep in mind the chronograph is just for show. It has a good weight to it, and the details are close. The Japanese mechanism winds and keeps time with no problems. My next one will likely be a Swiss made one.

As with any status watch it’s all about who is warering it and how it worn. The movement on the one I purchased will pass for authentic at distance. The weight was of the body was a little lighter than I thought it would be but the bracket and clasp were spot on from the plating and polish. My only concern was with the printed numbers on the bezel. They are bolder and deeper on the authentic version. However based on the quality of the lower price point I purchased I am looking at the Swiss version now.
